Waight & Associates is an electrical safety-oriented business, bringing together various aspects of the electrical safety as part of their services. These include safety audits, safety inspections, setup safety programs, vehicle fleet safety policies, evacuation plans, and safety training.
Our staff has years of experience providing electrical services at general construction sites. This experience, combined with consistent training, can provide you with set management, project evaluation, electrical drawings and approval services done in a well-organised manner.
We do inspection for New Buildings, Insurance purposes, Buildings for sale & rental to the IBC & the NEC. InterNACHI tested, FABI trained & certified for Wind Mitigation Inspections, we inspect Structures, Roofing, Electrical System, HVAC systems, Plumbing Appliances.
Waight & Associates was founded in 2000 by C. Phillip Waight, P. Eng, B.Sc., M. Sc., MIIRSM, Electrical & Safety Engineer and operated as a partnership specialising in Electrical Engineering, and Occupational Health & Safety Engineering. This continued until 2008 when Mr. Paul Satchwell, P. Eng, Cert Const. Studies, Dip Str. Eng (Hons), joined the firm expanding the services to include Construction Engineering and Project Management.
We endeavour to remain up-to-date with the rapidly changing technological advancements by purchasing and maintaining modern equipment. Our services are provided by a full-time professional staff and six additional technicians and craftsmen. Our speed of production and the quality of our output is significantly enhanced by the use of computer software which is used for most if not all of our design and drafting. All works are managed by the two experienced and qualified full-time engineers who serve as section heads. Since its inception, Mr. Waight has, and continues to function as the General Manager of the firm.
